Manish Chandra, Chairman of the Board

Manish Chandra is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Poshmark, where he also serves on the company’s board of directors. As CEO, Manish is responsible for guiding the vision, strategy and growth of the company. Under his leadership, Manish has applied over 20 years of experience building and scaling companies to create a social marketplace that combines the human connection of a physical shopping experience with the scale, reach, ease, and selection benefits of ecommerce. Prior to Poshmark, Manish co-founded Kaboodle, an online shopping website where he served as CEO, and which was acquired by Hearst Communications in August 2007. Before Kaboodle, Manish held executive positions at Versant, Versata (IPO 2000, acquired by Trilogy), and Sybase (IPO 1991, acquired by SAP). Manish holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Haas Business School at the University of California, Berkeley, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

Navin Chaddha, Lead Independent Director

Navin Chaddha has served on Poshmark’s board of directors since February 2011. Navin leads Mayfield, a venture capital firm, where he invests in big data, cloud, SaaS, the container ecosystem, mobile, marketplaces, security, storage and networking, and oversees the firm’s dedicated India Fund. He has been named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and has ranked on the Forbes Midas List of Top 100 Tech Investors seven times. Navin has invested in over 40 companies, of which 13 have gone public and 15 have been acquired. Prior to Mayfield, Navin’s venture capital experience included time spent at Mobius Venture Capital and Gabriel Venture Partners. He has worked at Microsoft and co-founded or led three startups including VXtreme, which was acquired by Microsoft to become Windows Media; Rivio/CPA2Biz, and IBeam Broadcasting (NASDAQ:IBEM). Navin holds an MS degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University and a B.Tech degree in electrical engineering from IIT Delhi, where he was honored with the distinguished IIT Alumni Award.

Jeffrey Epstein, Director

Jeffrey Epstein has served as a member of Poshmark’s board of directors since April 2018. Since November 2011, Jeffrey has served as an Executive in Residence and then as Operating Partner of Bessemer Ventures Partners, a venture capital firm. Since June 2019, Jeffrey Epstein has served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Apex Technology Holdings, a SPAC listed on Nasdaq. Since September 2014, he has been a Lecturer in the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. Jeffrey has also served as a member of the board of directors at Twilio since July 2017 and Shutterstock since April 2012. From September 2008 to April 2011, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Oracle. Jeffrey holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Yale University.

John Marren, Director

John Marren has served as a member of Poshmark’s board of directors since July 2018. Since November 2017, John has served as Senior Managing Director in North America of Temasek, a sovereign wealth fund of the Government of Singapore. Prior to joining Temasek, John was a Senior Partner and the Head of Technology Investments at TPG Capital from March 2000 to March 2016. Since February 2017, he has served as a member of the board of directors of Advanced Micro Devices, and has served as a member of the board of directors of Impossible Foods, a private company, since August 2019. John previously served as a member of the board of directors of Avaya Holdings from October 2007 to April 2011, and again from August 2013 to December 2017. He has also served as a member of the board of directors at several other private companies, including Aptina Imaging from July 2009 to August 2014, Freescale Semiconductor from June 2007 to December 2015, Sungard Data Systems from August 2005 to November 2015, and Vertafore from July 2010 to 2015. From November 2001 to December 2012, John served as Chairman of the board of directors of MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. (now known as SunEdison). John holds a BSEE in Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Jenny Ming, Director

Jenny Ming has served as a member of Poshmark’s board of directors since June 2019. From October 2009 to February 2019, Jenny served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Charlotte Russe, a fast-fashion specialty retailer of apparel and accessories catering to young women. From March 1999 to October 2006, Jenny served as President of Old Navy, a $7 billion brand in The Gap, Inc.’s portfolio, where she oversaw all aspects of Old Navy and its 900 retail clothing stores in the United States and Canada. Jenny joined The Gap, Inc. in 1986, serving in various executive capacities at its San Francisco headquarters, and in 1994, she was a member of the executive team that launched Old Navy. She has served on the boards of directors of Levi Strauss & Co since 2014, Paper Source since 2016, and Tower Foundation (at San Jose State University) since 2010. Jenny holds a B.A. in Fashion Merchandising/Marketing from San Jose State University.

Hans Tung, Director

Hans Tung has served on Poshmark’s board of directors since March 2016. Hans is a Managing Partner at GGV Capital, a venture capital firm, where he has worked since October 2013. Prior to joining GGV, Hans was a Managing Partner at Qiming Venture Partners, a venture capital firm. He began his venture capital career with Bessemer Venture Partners, a venture capital firm, and was a former entrepreneur himself and a former technology banker at Merrill Lynch in New York and Hong Kong. Hans has served on the board of directors of private companies including musical.ly, Wish, StockX, Misfit, Xiaomi, eHi Car Service, Vedantu and Rupeek. He has been ranked as a top VC on the Forbes Midas list since 2013 and was recognized by The Founder and CBN News magazines in the past as a Top 10 most entrepreneur-friendly VC in China. Hans holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Serena J. Williams, Director

Serena Williams has served as a member of Poshmark’s board of directors since January 2019. Serena began her career as a professional tennis player in 1995 and has won 23 career Grand Slam singles titles. She is also an activist, marketer, brand builder, and a dedicated philanthropist. In 2008, Serena established the Serena Williams Fund, where she focuses on creating equity in education. In 2016, Serena joined forces with her sister Venus to establish The Williams Sisters Fund to support joint philanthropic projects, beginning with the Yetunde Price Resource Center in Compton, California, which ensures individuals affected by violence and trauma have access to the resources they need to help them heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In 2019, she launched her own venture capital firm, Serena Ventures, which focuses on investing in companies that embrace diverse leadership, individual empowerment, creativity, and opportunity, and launched her own brand, SERENA, which celebrates body positivity and female empowerment. Additionally, Serena has also served as a Goodwill Ambassador with UNICEF since 2011. Since May 2017, she has served as a member of the board of directors of SVMK Inc., doing business as SurveyMonkey.
